Fits 2005 Chevrolet Impala 3400 base. It has worked well so far. I usually kit out my GM cars, but my '05 Impala 3400 took a beating (a few mostly minor incidents and someone from the back hit the rear end and hit the frame, so technically it counts). My old starter died due to an oil leak and I really don't have time to change the oil pan gasket (it's a lot of fun since it has those 6 side bolts). Being in a condominium also means I work on site. FYI, I started at the top of the engine (you have to unscrew the bolts from underneath; but I was able to do this without jacking up the car)
