Classy, durable mold for coaster set with holder
This is a beautiful mold set that makes a holder and four coasters, all four with different patterns.(Please see the enclosed pictures.)I used a little bit of mica powder to spruce up the castings, and the results are beautiful.The pieces were easy to cast and de-mold. The mold material was flexible and thick, and I have done three castings with good effects already.One caveat, I generally work in batches of 6 Oz of resin. That is just enough to do three of the coasters.You are going to need between 12-15 Oz of resin to cast a set of four and the holder.All in all, this is a lovely casting set, and I highly recommend it.
- The coasters are gorgeous, but they’re too thin to fit into the stand properly.
- The coaster molds are very thin. Coasters are to thin. The holder is great!
