Can't dim it, can't read it remotely

It would be nice if there were written instructions on each setting and how to reach them with the remote control, but if you use the remote control that comes with these lights they will be on your heels. There's no way to dim the light, keep it the same color, or make it steady, i.e. without flickering or blinking. I was hoping for some random soft ambient LED lighting set to ONE COLOR, but you can't do that with them. And if you can, there's no way to find out how! If you want your home to have super bright amusement park rides all the time, these lights are for you. Terrible product in general.
