Both broke after a few months
Both broke after a few months. (Original had only frayed the rope after 11 years of use, but the plastic ends held up.) Both of these replacement parts broke at various points on the plastic parts. One plastic end broke in half, the other just completely detached from the rope. It's too late to return them, so it's money lost. For $4.37 I went to my local hardware store and made two of these out of steel cable and a pair of bellows. At this stage, unlike this product, they survive the dishwasher. Do not buy.
