The fan impeller is out of balance, the whole unit 'shakes', it's a matter of time before the engine mount dies. Sleep mode is nothing more than turning off the display and the air sensor, but it does not reduce the fan speed. I can do the same manually by switching to speed 1 (manual) and turning off the display, the correct sleep mode should turn it off as well. The remote control is a joke, even when pointed directly at the device it only partially works. Save some money and order another device.
