I only gave 2 stars for the thickness because this product is not intended to thicken the hair. It's designed to make it silky smooth and prevent flyaway hair. I have tried literally every hair curling/flying product on the market and this is the best. I love it. My barber finished my haircut with this amazing product so I went to the makeup store and bought it for the first time. Every time I use it my hair looks like I just got out of the salon. I usually use a hair straightener right after application. But it can be used without first straightening the hair. Hands down, this product is worth every penny.
