Good for first watch

Great little pocket watch. However, since this is my first pocket watch, I didn't know how many times to wind and shake it to keep it ticking. The advertised glowing display is not bad, if you shine a flashlight on it for about 15 seconds, it stays bright green for about 2-3 minutes. Also, unless you're just looking for a rough estimate, the concept of being able to see what time it is through the front hole is pretty tricky.
