Our old Verizon remotes are broken. I disassembled them about once a year for many years and cleaned the contacts inside. But they still didn't respond to the most frequently pressed buttons (channel, volume, etc.). I contacted Verizon and they wanted to charge me for replacing the remotes with new ones. I came across these remotes here at Revain and they were cheaper than Verizon so I grabbed them and have no regrets. Too bad he didn't do it sooner. These new ones have a Netflix button that our old ones didn't have, so that's a bonus. I highly recommend them.
