The first photo is what I ordered, as you can see it has the Verizon logo. The second photo is what arrived today, obviously not with the Verizon logo. I ordered this item based on the Verizon logo. Instead, I got a remote control with the Frontier logo on it. Of course I wanted the one in the picture. I did not understand!

We were disappointed with our original Fios remote control. Buttons no longer work reliably. It was easy to set up this new one with our TV and it's nice to have a working remote again. I wish the cable company would replace it for free, but since they didn't, I bought from Revain rather than the cable company.

I thought I'd buy a replica Verizon FIOS remote but got the Frontier version instead. It's almost identical to the Verizon version, but the circular FIOS button in the center has been replaced with two smaller TV and Netflix buttons. Overall it works well but I would keep looking if I knew it was going to be fake.

This remote control is very easy to set up. I got it right on the first try. All buttons work except the Netflix button. I didn't expect this to work as other reviewers said it didn't work for them. But almost everyone said it was easy to set up and it was! The only problem was that the batteries stopped working after 4 days. I think they were old or bad batteries. I would still recommend this block because it works so well.

NOT Verizon. This is the limit. So far it's working, but it feels lighter (and cheaper) in hand. The only other gripe is that you can't hold down the volume button to turn it up or down. You need to keep pressing up or down. Not critical, but still annoying. Gave three stars because if it's sold as a Verizon remote, send me a Verizon remote! I even returned the first one hoping the second one would be Verizon but no such luck.

The remote control I received is not the one in the photo. It wasn't a Verizon remote and has extra buttons that don't work with my STB (like Netflix). I had a dying console. The only reason it gets less than 5 stars is that it is not the product pictured or described. It works and I don't have to send it back if I don't need it.

Our old Verizon remotes are broken. I disassembled them about once a year for many years and cleaned the contacts inside. But they still didn't respond to the most frequently pressed buttons (channel, volume, etc.). I contacted Verizon and they wanted to charge me for replacing the remotes with new ones.
