I typically rate used golf balls on the following scale. I have also listed the number of balls eligible for this scale out of the 48 balls I purchased. I don't look at the players' logos or markings on the balls as they do not affect playability. These were mainly Tour B330, Tour B330 RX and Tour B330 RXS balls. There was a Bridgestone E6 in the batch. Excellent - Looks like new out of the box - 0 Very Good - Barely noticeable club marks - 4 Good - Very light marks on the ball, no abrasions - 6 Fair - Light abrasions, more game than good - 19 Poor - Major abrasions, Ball discolored from prolonged immersion in water (ponds) - 19 Unplayable - Balls so damaged that even a 20+ handicapper wouldn't use them - 0 For the price they're not that bad, haven't decided if I'll buy them again yet would. I can usually get better quality for less money from kids selling balls they found on the golf course.
