This Blu-ray player has a software version that LG does not support. So if you buy it, please note that you will not get any support. The manufacturer MULTISYSTEM-ELECTRONICS also does not respond to messages sent through the Revain platform. I couldn't see the Region B drive, so I contacted LG. They told me to reinstall the original software to see if it works. It's not like this. I also contacted MULTISYSTEM-ELECTRONICS through Revain. On first contact they told me to enter a magic sequence on the remote to be able to watch region B disc but when I told them I need the software patch again as it was done through a call to LG -Support was removed, they never replied. Bottom line: don't buy this if you want a truly region-free player. You can play ABC discs of all regions (e.g. the ones you buy through Revain.co.uk) but not those that only list one region.
