So we just bought our second RV (Passport 2650bh.) When we tried to bring it home in our 2012 Manual Transmission Call of Duty 6 Jeep, we noticed a bit of rear sag and the Jeep bumps didn't budge at all, making for a very bumpy ride. My husband started searching the internet for an inexpensive solution to our problem and landed on Revane's website. He sent me a link to this product and told me to buy it (something I don't often hear from him). He installed them himself on one of the Sabbath days. Although my husband is very nimble, he said anyone can do this as a DIY project. He said most of the time was spent figuring out where the air pump line would go down to make sure it didn't rub against the exhaust pipes. He decided to drill through the driver's side rear fender to install the valve stem for the air hose. It looks like it came from the factory. He inflates it with an electric air pump and measures the correct pressure with a simple tire pressure gauge. He says the pressure gets higher at 35psi when towing and 5psi when driving daily. Now for the functionality. These air lifters really work. Before the elevators, on the way out of the RV dealership, I felt nauseous from all the hopping that was going on. After the lifts, on our first tow bus ride, we climbed, climbed and flew away. We sit well, the rear no longer sags and the dampers work again to absorb bumps in the road. For the cost, the result and the ease of installation (according to my husband) we are very happy with this purchase. Go with the camper. Jeep Life 4ever!
