I took a chance because they have a thicker temple and the locking notch is in the toe rather than the heel like many cheaper brands. I use them on my Pelican case and the cheaper ones tend to get cut off easily during handling. The overall quality seems higher than the less expensive ones I've bought (and lost) and they definitely feel more durable. The box they arrived in was not sealed and I think this led to the key cards being lost. After registering the locks on the website, I sent a message to their support team to inquire about a replacement. It was on Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised when the next day I heard from them (thanks Matt) an offer to replace them ASAP. In these days of apathetic consumer product customer service, I don't think that's an option. I hope I don't lose any of the locks, but if I do I won't hesitate to buy them again.
