There is a lot to like about this piece; It feels solid, it's smooth and doesn't seem to suffer from cheap manufacturing flaws like many of the other products I buy here. Understand its dimensions and you will probably be happy with it. (The space between layers is less than 4 inches, so be wise about what to leave below and where to set it to maintain 360 degree access.) The "problem" I'm having with mine, and I've aired the issue in quotes because it's a pretty minor complaint, too yellow copper hue. I bought it to keep in a very specific place with a lamp shining directly on it. It looks like a shiny very yellowish metal in this light and it distracts me and makes it look cheaper than it is. I wish it came in more colors because it's so damn cool. But if you have severe OCD with colors, be aware that in some lighting conditions it distorts to icteric yellow and doesn't mimic the lush, patinated real copper that for $20 I should have known, I didn't intend to buy. BTW, my husband says the top tier screws into the domed part, so supposedly you can line the trays with fabric, cork, or whatever. Maybe I'll try it because I feel like it's going to poke my eye out anyway.
