Arch collapse is good for freeway driving

Overall, as most reviewers describe it, it has a good springy ride. However, the shoes are wrinkled in the arch and ball of the foot under the big toe. With every step, my foot just falls inward. I've never had this problem with running shoes (I've run about 6 times, averaging about 40-60 miles per week). I've added Greenfeet insoles for more arch support, ran 10 miles today and the insole helps reduce breakdown, but I'm not sure I can continue to use these shoes for anything other than the occasional medium/short run . So sad, it feels fun and upbeat and fast, a great outlier, especially when you're walking like half-marathon paces and faster. Update - despite several attempts, the collapse of the bow renders them unusable for me. I should have researched them more carefully before buying. When I look at video reviews on the web, I see similar movements in other media. They give me pain in my shins and ankles, this is the first time I've worn these shoes. Maybe it's just me, I know a lot of people love these shoes.
