I had to laugh when I saw a car that YT was using to tension car timing belts and I had to do some stupid math to figure it out, he had no idea it was a Harley special was tool Davidson. This tool is incredibly easy to use, but two things need to be mentioned to potential DIY buyers. 1.) If your HD does not have a belt guard with a tension scale window, you will need a ruler or tape measure to determine the correct belt deflection for your bike. 2.) Get the correct belt deflection specification from your service manual or even contact your local dealer for the specification. DO NOT APPRECIATE that you can damage the belt, mainshaft bearings and even your internal primary by setting the tension too tight or too loose. My only gripe with OTC would be that the first pair uses a clutch in the mechanism which causes it not to start compressing until very close to the 10lb mark as once released it almost goes to 10 -pound mark jumps.
