I've had this product less than a month and the paint was peeling like crazy. I've been a fan of Klean Kanteen for many years. For reference, see the photo I've attached. My alter has served me faithfully for as long as I can remember. Obviously, and I understand that, blue is colored. It was never my old man. However, I expect the color to last over a month! I find blue flakes everywhere. If you look at the product description, it's a direct quote: KLEAN COAT powder coating is specially formulated to be safe for people and the environment and four times more durable. All Klean Kanteen colored stainless steel water bottles released in 2018 have this chip and scratch resistant coating. We have gone beyond legal standards to create a SAFE coating for wearers and wearers. I went to Klean Canteen's website and was very disappointed to learn that I couldn't return this directly from them as I ordered it from Revain. Yes, I am aware that I can return the Revane. not worth my time Instead I will find another product.
