This really needs to be in a place where no one is around or can touch it and nothing is going to melt! I returned it. I bought it for my small bathroom, the only outlet was near the sink. The outer lid gets VERY HOT, it melted my bar of soap! I was also nervous if I accidentally touched it because it might burn you. Also, I really couldn't figure out how to get it to just turn on/off the temperature control. it seems like it just starts up and then doesn't turn on again, then we try to "install" again, but again the same results, hot, then it just turns off. If you were standing in the bathroom you would notice the warmth. but then again i was nervous to be around him, then i never really noticed that the room stayed warm on its own. (But I never set it right I guess)
