I don't normally eat pomegranates, but I recently read in the Bible that pomegranates were used as decorations in the ark/temple to symbolize abundance or prosperity, not really sure, but it seems appropriate for Christmas. Of the other fruits I bought this one is the biggest and it looks like a regular Christmas decoration so I thought it would be cool if you look at the tree and think it's a regular decoration then you come closer and realize that you were actually looking at a pomegranate. It seems like the fruit played a trick on you.
