Second Time's the Charm
Ordered based on positive reviews. Arrived, connected power supply, HDMI input and 2 HDMI outputs. The power indicator on the splitter came on, but none of the HDMI indicators came on. I've tried different cables with no success so I sent it back. Given the 4.5/5 stars I made one last try and ordered more. The second worked like a charm. Used to duplicate a 4K input in multiple rooms, each HDMI cable is approximately 50 feet long with no degradation or delay. So if yours doesn't work out of the box, you may have just gotten a non-working one, so try again.
