I was trying to save money by researching carefully (based on the numbers on my current charger) to find a new genuine Dell charger. Unfortunately when I received it it wasn't the same. As you can see from the photos, the charger I got (the top one) was much larger, the plug to the computer was longer (but it still dangled and didn't fit properly), and although I found the numbers in my search got , one of the tiny numbers on the new charger was different. My computer guru advised me to plug it into my computer without plugging it into an outlet just to be safe (otherwise there might be problems) and that's when I discovered the pen wasn't working. it doesn't even fit on my computer. It's not the same charger. i give it back My geek said that sometimes you can get the right thing through Revain, but you have to examine it very carefully and make sure it all fits together, and it doesn't. I will buy from Dell just to be on the safe side.
