A little difficult at first. then bought from a BMW dealer and compared to OWM. I had what I thought was a huge gap and too much "play" or wiggle room. They have a metal clip on one end just like the OEM part. Well when I compared them I saw that the metal clip on the secondary pair was just bent to a horizontal position. The OEM metal clip was bent down or vertically into a "V" shape. I removed the non-original ones from my car and fitted them and they were a lot harder to put back on the car, removing all the excess slack and "play" that was previously there. Now they don't move at all and are definitely stuck. I used to be afraid they would fall while driving if I hit a bump in the road. Fits perfectly. Just like OEM.
