The design of this product is extremely simple and self-explanatory. If you have space under two sliding doors and want to keep them from swinging back and forth this will work for you and is great value. The reason I'm giving it one star is because it's made of very thin plastic, not hard at all. The part can be bent with a simple finger pressure and is not fixed in the middle. When bolted to the floor through a carpet, the inside bulges outward and creates some friction on the door. It is impossible to fix this because the whole unit is one whole; There is no harder material on the floor that is supposed to give it a certain rigidity. A stiffer base would make this item more functional and more resistant to flexing and stress during installation, but it still gets the job done.
