Works well, company stood by their product

I have used our Mustart Travelmaster Level 2 Portable EV Charger for just over a year. I started w/ it on a 120v, 15amp circuit to charge my 2012 Volt. It worked fine and when we added a used 2017 Bolt, I added a 240v 40amp circuit to the garage. Using the included 240v quick change plug, it proceeded to provide trouble free performance for just over a year. Then, this past December it started going to a "LD" (leakage detected) error anytime I plugged it in to either vehicle and any source of power. Unplug it from the vehicle and it would return to green, ready to charge status but anytime you put a load on it, it would fault again. I contacted Mustart via email. After a little bit of a frustrating effort to provide them videos of what i was doing, they shipped a replacement to me at no cost and I'm back up and running. I'm not thrilled about having the issue I had and the extra efforts to video the problem, I am pleased that they stood by their product. I hope this replacement performs well.

Pros
  • ⚡QUICKER CHARING: With the TRAVELMASTER, you can charge up to 6 times as quickly as at a standard domestic power outlet. Carefully check the maximum AC charging current and maximum AC charging power (KW) of your vehicle to see how quickly the battery in your electric car will be fully charged so that you can quickly get back on the road. (The actual working current it depends on your vehicle setting).
Cons
  • Be aware that this product does not fit a Tesla without an adaptor to plug into the car.
