I've been told that this scale is fairly accurate for both weight and body fat percentage. I bought it to track my body fat percentage. Weighs 2 pounds less than other scales that are more commercial. I can live with that, but the body fat percentage is way off. I read in a review that the body fat percentage should be at least close to the real percentage. For example, my body fat percentage is 8.9%. My body fat percentage is actually 28.8%. It's really frustrating. Also, the phone app only shows percentages and not always the number of pounds, so I can't even attempt to measure it versus weight in pounds of fat and total mass. Very disappointed in him. I'm well over the box so I can't send it back. I really wasted my money on this scale.
