Bought because it was cheap and matched my kayak's 1.2psi pressure. I wish it was battery operated. Of course. But there are no 1.2 psi (large air volume) pumps under $100. On the other hand, this pump is cheap and does the job when an outlet is nearby. I have an outlet in my RV so I wasn't thrilled with the batteries. By the way, it takes me (senior) 7-10 minutes (including COPD breaks so I can stop and breathe a few times) to inflate a 13ft iKayak. This pump cuts the time down to about two minutes, including fine-tuning with a foot pump and no effort. The first two times I used it I thought I got my money.
