Confession. I did not read the ad!

Okay, I've been waiting for a tree. I admit. I was expecting a chipboard cube with some kind of clasp. I wasn't expecting a tape. nope No no no. I wasn't expecting a Z board. I admit that at first glance I was a little confused that this cube was (as I said on my first breath when I saw the product) "FREAKIN CARDBOARD". joint tape. The only real wood in this equation are the cube's alignment pins. This cube should surround the monitor in my studio and hold my whiteboard on it. I figured it shouldn't be too strong as the board only weighs about 15 pounds. But it has to be strong and not wobble. My teenage child and I put it together. (He inserted the pins and helped with the covers for the duct tape.) Once the back panel was in place (I also confess to cutting a hole in the back panel for the wires, I cut a full circle about 3 inches above the bottom ). the board without breaking the integrity of the floor.) and the sides were in place, I found I could push them with almost all of my weight without bending or flexing. Once fully assembled, it snaps perfectly, holds tight without hesitation, and looks neat. Honestly, that's what I needed. Phew, amazing. It's inexpensive, durable and looks good. If you are looking for a cheap shelf I would say this will do. Not sure if they will hold together when you try to hang them. But as a dice on a table or on the floor it should work. Thanks very much!
