My TV's speakers are on the back so the sound is amplified. Bought for solid approach. I don't understand all the positive reviews but I suspect it's because it's hardwired to the TV. The volume needs to be preset through the TV before connecting the bluetooth as it is limited in increasing and decreasing the volume through the speaker. It's not a controlled sound when it turns on and off, and it announces it loudly! Imagine falling asleep and turning off the TV only to hear "Bluetooth off!" Extremely loud. Another problem I have is that it turns off automatically when I turn off the TV so I have to go into the settings every time I turn it off. Also, the remote control must be pointed directly at the speaker for it to work. Lots of little issues but overall it's a pass for me. Not recommended for regular use via Bluetooth.
