This is a much better/effective epilator than the previous one. I ordered the Panasonic which was more expensive for my first because I read on one of those paid sponsored sites that it's good. I used to walk through the same areas 50 times thinking they should all be like this. I tried brown once and now I understand that epilation shouldn't be like that! I'm so glad my previous epilator suddenly stopped working, otherwise I never would have known that there was a much better and more effective product out there for less money! that it seemed to catch on the skin and then turned more black than I was used to, but then I realized I had put it on backwards. Even when misused, it worked MUCH better than my old one. It stays charged for full body epilation in less time. The charging cable is similar to the Panasonic charging cable, so I'm worried it might suffer the same fate: spontaneously stopping charging/turning on at some point (I hope not!). But if I do, I'll be honest, I'll probably order another one right away, that's great! I also use a hair inhibiting spray right away after which I hope the hair doesn't grow back like the reviews say.
