Score changed from 2 to 5 :) The problem wasn't with the filter but with the pre-filter (the bottom gasket was too dusty to hold securely). I just sent one of these back from another seller hoping it was a fluke. Either I'm missing something or they just don't work with the BDH2000. Appears identical to the original and fits, but rotating, opening and closing the suction nozzle several times causes the filter (plastic pre-filter cup) to come loose. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times, same result. It looks like the nozzle and plastic pre-filter should spin together, but the inner filter should be free-floating (instead of spinning). This is how the original works. The replacement paper filter looks like it's too tight against the plastic pre-filter to move freely, or it's rubbing or rubbing against something. In any case, the filter moves after opening and closing the nozzle several times. When I put the original filter back in, it works perfectly. The only recognizable difference to the original is the number "PP 04" on the inside. My previous unsuitable replacement was PP 03, the original is PP 02, and the original has a drawing of dirt flowing into a trash can. I would return this one but sorry to return two in a row :/ My model is a Black & Decker 20 Volt BDH2000PL MAX Lithium Pivot Vacuum.
