Review on GeeekPi Capacitive 800X480 Raspberry BeagleBone by Jose Cruz

I ordered two of these screens and tested them on different RPi hardware but I was never able to get the touchscreen to work. I followed the instructions and even tested different micro USB cables. However, the touchscreens never responded to my finger. I was also a bit disappointed with the placement of the HDMI and micro-USB ports. It didn't seem to have given much thought to how the connector layout might be most convenient for connecting a Raspberry Pi or similar device. The connectors are always spaced just a few mm apart in each direction to mate well with other connectors. It's a shame really. Otherwise the screen itself is great. Colors are vibrant and the backlight is very bright.
