Operating the buttons requires Herculean finger strength.

It is too difficult to control the phone's external functions. This case required a 2-second one-handed process (taking a screenshot) and turned it into a 2-minute full-body exercise. This case was perfect for my XS but definitely not ready for XR. Unfortunately I have to return it and look forward to the updated version for the XR.
