2006 Toyota Tacoma. As already mentioned, they dangle a bit when installed. You have lateral play to the point where the gauge on the handle doesn't exactly match your selection. Still functional, just a bit sloppy. It might be trivial, but if you're anything like me, it's a little annoying. Also, they can be pulled out/removed easily. In short, they don't exactly fit. I fixed both of those issues with a little tape on the shaft to put some tension on it and a little RTV glue to hold it in place. Next was the light ring on the handle. There is no color filter behind, so the light comes in the same color as the bulbs behind the handles, which in most cases are white. I wanted it to match my Tacoma's amber-orange interior lighting. I was able to do this with an amber taillight repair tape I bought from my local auto parts store. I put tape on the back of the handle and cut it with an X-Acto knife. After each shift, I installed the pen in my truck to check the color. After 3 layers of tape the color was perfect. The pictures don't really do them justice, they turned out great. They look like they came straight from the factory. This type of tape is also available in red and yellow. If you have a different interior color such as blue, search Amazon and you should be able to find the color you want on either clear tape or clear self-adhesive vinyl. Hope that helps.
