I bought this printer a few months ago and after reading the reviews I was sure it should be a winner even though it costs $849.99 which is a lot of money for is a printer with no real track record. I've set up the machine and use it to print 4" x 4" black and white images and several hundred body text black and white images. We tried the printer and the first prints soaked the paper with ink and distorted the paper and took a long time to dry and we reduced the quality of the image and the ink and got the same result. The Brother printer we had before printed high quality, was dry, and was only $349.99. We decided to give it a try since all the reviews said there should be 6000-8000 pages. When the month was up and the ink was almost gone, the device had 1800+ pages and the black reservoir was almost empty. This is very frustrating as now after purchasing the ink you have to turn in your ink bottle and discount information to get the free ink program they offer for 2 year purchase. I highly recommend looking at another printer as this thing also suffers from a paper jam on the back which doesn't exist and it seems like when printing from it and back it hit a sensor and needs to be restarted and now is a useless printer that we will have to replace in a few months. $%@@ is totally unacceptable and misleading marketing to get free ink for 2 years to get ripped off buying this POS at $849.99 and you need to buy ink less than 2000 prints and you don't have the feeling of having been deceived. misleading marketing! I'm not a competitor or a fake review and I just wanted to share this as one of the worst printer experiences I've ever had and I'm taking my time and always being picky so we're aware of the overproduction and cost per sheet. HI really hopes this will help everyone stay away from Epson's new Eco tanks and look elsewhere before they get sucked into empty promises. Questions. That stinks!
