If you installed the original system yourself, this filter replacement set is no problem for you. I had a brief leak after changing the filter, but it was caused by one of the hoses not being fully inserted into the fitting. To install them you will need to cut 1/4" of the existing tubing after removing the old filter and before installing the new one. After a few years some of the tubing will become too short to cut and still usable I feel like a better design would not only avoid this problem but also make it easier to change the filter.Similar to having a cap that fits over a filter that can be removed but still attached to the hoses.Overall I like this reverse osmosis system and I'm sure it does its job well. I don't mind doing a small filter change once a year, but at some point I also need to change the hoses.
