HydroGardener Replacement Filter for Home Master ISetTMA8 Review

Not as easy as replacing some other filters where you just have to click on something. After you've depressurized the system, simply stick the hose into the filter and it will come out. The only problem I see going forward is that when the ends of the tubes wear out you have to cut 1/4 inch off the tube with a clean cut so the filter mechanism attaches securely to the tube with no leaks. , After the change, the water tastes great, so no complaints on that front.

I think this is my second (single) review (no supplement). I really like the system and can't say anything bad about it. The filters are expected to last almost 12 months after installation. I usually get about 80 days. I agree ($1 per day or less). Multiple sets of filters took a week or less. The return process was problematic. -is free. Bought replacement filters for a HomeMaster reverse osmosis system that I bought a year ago. It seems to be doing its job. I don't have all the water tester kits, just a TDS meter, and regular tap water at So Cal is around 500-600ppm, going through reverse osmosis filters got it down to around 40ppm for the first few weeks. If you installed the original system yourself, this filter replacement set is no problem for you. I had a brief leak after changing the filter, but it was caused by one of the hoses not being fully inserted into the fitting. To install them you will need to cut 1/4" of the existing tubing after removing the old filter and before installing the new one. After a few years some of the tubing will become too short to cut and still usable I feel like a better design would not only avoid this problem
