Review on HydroGardener Replacement Filter for Home Master ISetTMA8 by Louis Asok

These replacement cartridges are cheaper to buy here at Revain than on the manufacturer's website. :) Here are the steps I used to replace them: 1. Close the tank and the water supply taps (one on top of the tank, the other on the water supply, just follow the pipe and you'll see where it is connected to the same line that goes to your sink faucet). 2. After turning off the water, open the reverse osmosis valve and allow it to depressurize and drain the water. 3. Remove 1 filter at a time, paying attention to the direction of flow. Filters are printed with labels that are printed so that if the label is the right way up, the flow is in the right direction, but that is not the case. There's no harm in checking the arrows. 3a. To remove the filter cartridge, press the colored plastic tab and pull the tube up. 4. Inspect the tube to make sure it is not damaged and is round at the end. IF this is not the case, you will need to cut the tube until it has the desired flatness and roundness. (This is my second replacement and I didn't have to cut the hose. 5. Install the hose on the end of the cartridge and push until it snaps into place. This may require some force. 6. Repeat for 7. Open the water supply very much , very slowly (do not open the reservoir valve) and let the water flow for about 5 minutes 8. When you are sure the water is clean, close the water supply valve 9. Open the tank valve and allow the system to drain 10. Close the reverse osmosis valve and open the water supply and open the reverse osmosis valve to drain the water from the tank three times to wash everything well (this may be overkill) 12. When finished, turn off the water supply in and enjoy the water!
