Good size and weight thermometer with 3 settings for measuring surface temperature, room temperature and body temperature. It has a good-sized, easy-to-read display with a backlight. Another nice feature is that it has 2 color modes for elevated body temperature (orange for abnormal but no fever, red for fever/high temperature). The packs come with batteries ready to be opened and inserted, which is also a bonus. However, minor deviations are precisely noted. I have been monitoring my temperature for over 2 weeks due to an emergency room visit for a non-covid issue. I had no Covid symptoms but I understood how things could change. So several times, especially when I'm wearing a fleece shirt or pajamas, the thermometer thinks I have a fever. I had to check with another infrared thermometer which showed my body temperature was lower than Vaxxen's infrared. To be honest, I don't know where this discrepancy comes from. Despite this, I am generally satisfied with the thermometer.
