The screw holes are unthreaded, the screws require more force than is required for installation and may gall the markings on the screw heads and become unusable. That being said, what you see is what you got, no thumb guard, no battery cover, and the grips came pre-installed on the back of the case. I think the battery cover is a must, I am restoring the black elite controller and I need to reuse a black battery cover in a white case.
