I put this on the back of our 19ft fiberglass camper so I can see what's behind us as we travel and when reversing. Pretty easy as I was able to mount the camera on an existing roof mounted solar panel frame and then run the power wires through the fridge vent to hook it up to the 12 volt power supply. This way I didn't have to drill holes in the RV's roof. The camera gives you a clear view of what's behind you as you drive down the road or pull into a campsite. I turned on the monitor as I returned to my seat. Camping one day to see how far I could raise the camera and get the camera signal over 100 feet from the camper. The signal seems pretty strong and we never lost signal while towing. I sometimes forgot to attach the tow mirror extension, but the camera eliminates the need for extensions as you can see directly behind the RV as well as adjacent lanes.
