Review on HITRENDS Protector Extension Multiplug Smartphone by Jesse Diaz

Dear HITRENDS, Thank you for the quick delivery of the purchased power supply and a very nice accompanying note, which encourages me to write an honest review. When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't much packaging inside. I find overpacking annoying and harmful to the environment. I wasn't surprised to find voltage and amperage marked on the HITREND extension, but I was surprised to find them repeated above with a permanent marker and pen. Even more amazing was that it was double written (see pictures) for 5V/2.4A sockets. Ok, I got it! I then plugged it into the outlet and as usual the cute orange light came on indicating the HITREND power strip was receiving power. What was an unpleasant surprise was that the USB sockets didn't work, none of them worked with multiple cables and devices. Needless to say I am returning this pretty crappy night light and am a bit disappointed to receive an obviously used and broken extension cord. What happened to this HITREND?
