Get what you pay for. Wouldn't use for a boat/trailer.
It's probably safer towing a boat without strapping the transom to the trailer than using these. They're bound to fail, then fly around either damaging your boat/trailer or off into cars behind you. The strap material is thin, not much stiching. The only thing holding the latch together are two tiny stainless steel (?) rivets. The latch is held closed by a little strap and 1x1" squares of velcro.
- Strong strap. Boat feels secure to trailer. Locks down tight.
- The straps are not flame retardant, making them potentially dangerous in extreme heat or fire situations
