Nice looking device in a nice roomy protective case. The detector produces a lot of white noise with a detector tone (or lack thereof) that quickly becomes stale. It requires two 9 volt batteries which are not included in the kit! I'm used to tools that require batteries. But let's face it, it's 2021. No tool should need a battery. A USB powered charging port should be present on every electronic field device. It is very disappointing that this tool does not have this feature. The tools are solid, the battery terminals are bolted down, which is the best way for them, if they need to be there at all.
