Unreliable equipment for industrial use

Based on our own experience with this product, we found it to be an untrustworthy piece of equipment. While it was able to properly identify circuit continuity, it often gave false readings. For an Industrial and Scientific tool, this is completely unacceptable. We cannot recommend this product for any serious work in the field.

The signal is traceable, with the addition of white noise

Nice looking device in a nice roomy protective case. The detector produces a lot of white noise with a detector tone (or lack thereof) that quickly becomes stale. It requires two 9 volt batteries which are not included in the kit! I'm used to tools that require batteries. But let's face it, it's 2021. No tool should need a battery. A USB powered charging port should be present on every electronic field device. It is very disappointing that this tool does not have this feature. The tools are…

Remember good price Network & Cable Tester

This is a simple signal tracer that works great. Devices like this really annoy me. Someone must have told the engineers that you have to make sure that good batteries don't fail and become associated with bad batteries and goofy. WHY do they need to be screwed in? A latch door works just as well and doesn't require a screw (which is about four times the length of this thing). I've had about 2 bad leads over the years that a tracer would definitely help with, but I keep reaching for a DMM to…
