I bought these to identify and hear my foster parents. They are very strong and don't come off too easily. The only downside for 2 month old kittens, although it is designed for the smallest size. For all cat lovers, the rule of thumb for measuring a collar on a cat is 2 fingerslips. Depending on how big the kitten is, it may look bigger than it should be. It was a slip of 4 fingers. You can stick a leg in and hold it under you and look like chewing gum running over it until you fix it. And you have to keep an eye on them if they've never worn a collar and a couple of my adopters have had a collar in their mouth. Will I buy these collars again, yes. Knowing what to look for and they are not cheap this is a good collar. But for new pet parents, if you don't want to be in control, don't buy.
