I wish I had known this when I started my breastfeeding journey as it would make life so much easier and more convenient. In the early stages of motherhood I only used creams and while they were moisturizing they didn't permanently relieve my pain. Creams only seem to work for a few hours or less. I know I would be afraid of pumping/breastfeeding because it was painful, which many mothers experience. We mothers simply put up with the pain for our children. I'm glad I found these "mugs" and they work really well for me. At first I thought it would be painful or embarrassing but no, this is very thin silver and they just soothe the area. I remember just not wanting to put my bra back on after pumping/breastfeeding because it would be very sensitive and painful and easily sore. These cups really protect the area and just make it a little more comfortable under the bra. This is one of those products that I will definitely tell my friends about for becoming a new mom. I still don't understand why none of the pregnancy books mention such things and there is only nipple cream that doesn't really help compared to those cups.
