I bought this collar to replace the old Petsafe collar. I am very happy with it. I like that it comes with 2 collars. That alone justifies the purchase. Compared to the Petsafe collar, this one emits louder sounds and vibrates more. I didn't even have to use the shock setting as it is very sensitive to other settings. I love that the Shock Rig beeps and hits at the same time. It's nice that the beep function can also be switched off if you just want to shock without beeping. Another feature I like is that the vibrate option has its own button. My old Petsafe didn't. Vibration was the lowest shock setting. That was a problem because I could only shock in an emergency. It was very frustrating to scroll through the settings to get shocked. Not with that! I can't say how long the battery will last as I've only had it for a few days. I can say that it charges very quickly, which is nice! Another great thing about this brand is that you can buy spare parts. If you break the remote, you can buy a new one and program it into the collars. Overall I am very satisfied with this collar and can only recommend it!
