Review on Canson Acrylic Canvas Texture Sheets by Kelsey Brown

Good quality paper - love postcards

I love painting on this Canson paper! It's 9x12 and I use it folded in half to make a postcard. This makes a solid 6x9 map. (It can certainly be decorated by the recipient, but 6x9 is not a standard size so you can always cut 1 inch off the long side before folding/dyeing it to make it 6x8.) What I do is put them on the back to glue. 11x14 canvas to fix them for painting. And then I can use my easel too. I've drawn a blue line on the fish image to indicate where I'll place the tape, right along the crease so you can get a nice clean edge and it keeps the back of the card clean while you paint, unless You're getting too wild with your strokes! Looks very nice under paint. PS I use acrylic, with very little water. If you add a lot of water to acrylic, they deform, they're still paper. But as you can see in the photo that's no problem are good and dry evenly in acrylic with a little water.

Pros
  • Waterproof canvas that looks like textured paper
Cons
  • Very expensive
