I'm 5ft 7in and about 150lbs with decent buttocks and thighs. I usually wear 6 or 8 depending on the cut. The medium ones fit me best, I tried the large ones and they were too big. I like the length, especially when hiking. Lightweight and breathable but not transparent. No hip rub
