Yes, this is the real deal. As you'd expect, this is a fairly large version of the My Arcade mini cabs. The same premium design and build, but with a larger screen. Except this one is loaded with 34 classic Data East games, and not just the NES version like the smaller cabs, but the real original arcade versions (yes!). Most of the great games are there, including one of my favorite arcade games from my childhood: Bad Dudes! But strangely, other good movies like Ring King and Robocop were left out. OK. All of that can't be, can it? Definitely what keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the lack of a battery option like the smaller cabins. This one comes with a decent micro-USB power adapter that plugs into an outlet. You can also connect a regular micro USB cable to another power source that can power it as well. But does it really need a wired power supply? Personally I find small arcade booths like this very portable and I tend to move them around based on my mood and being plugged in all the time sucks. So I decided on a cheap battery pack and attached it to the back of the cockpit with Velcro. The problem is solved! So if you're looking for a hell of a retro arcade trip with your very own arcade taxi to take anywhere, take this. Currently.
